Where are Hillview Cottages?
Hillview Cottages is located on the Booie Range 10km north of Kingaroy, in the South Burnett region of South East Queensland. We are approx 220km NW of Brisbane and at 600m about sea level we enjoy cool crisp winters and fresh summer breezes. For more on the latest Kingaroy weather click here.

From Brisbane can you can choose to travel north through Caboolture and Kilcoy or west over the Wivenhoe Dam and Esk.
From the Sunshine Coast you travel through Gympie and take the Wide Bay Highway turnoff to Kilkivan or travel through Beerwah and over the Peachester Range to Kilcoy.
From the Gold Coast the most direct route is via the Logan Motorway, Ipswich Motorway then via Esk.
From Toowoomba follow the New England Highway through Crows Nest to Yarraman and follow the signs.
From Dalby follow the Bunya Highway through Bell and Kumbia.

Please be aware that many GPS units do not recognise Birt Road Kingaroy, some list it under Moreton NW as the suburb.
However, some of the roads they suggest you travel on are no more than stock routes and are not maintained by the local council nor is there mobile phone reception should you encounter any problems.
Please follow the directions below from Kingaroy and Murgon.

From Kingaroy
Follow the Bunya Highway north towards Wondai & Murgon. You will go through the lights at McDonalds (on left) and then past the Kingaroy hospital on the right.
Travel 3 km along the highway and then turn right into Booie Crawford Road and right again at the T junction.
Turn first left into Couchman’s Rd (just past the Crane & Captains Paddock wineries sign)
Turn next right into Birt Rd (approx 2 km down the hill just past the yellow & black crossroads sign)
We are on the left, 800m past the end of the bitumen on Birt Rd.
Our property starts at the junction of Klass & Townes Rd and reception is approx 250m further on the left.

From Murgon
Follow the Bunya Highway through the town of Wondai and the villages of Tingoora (pub on right), Wooroolin (pub on left) and Memerambi (no pub!).
As you continue travelling to Kingaroy (approx 6 km) you will pass a turn off to the right to the village of Crawford.
Just past this turn off you will go up Redman’s Hill. At the top of this hill follow the winery signs and exit the highway to the left on Booie Crawford Road.
Turn next left into Couchmans Rd and next right into Birt Rd. We on the left, 800m past the end of the bitumen on Birt Rd.

Reception
The first driveway at the property leads to reception which has plenty of parking and a turn around area. The entrance to the cottages is via the next driveway down the road (approx 80m).
The Church and The Dairy are on the left and The Cottage is on the right as you drive in.
